World Animal Day, European Dog Show in Budapest

Hungexpo
The World Animal Day is celebrated on 4 October, and as a part of this the largest dog show of Europe will be held in Hungary for the second time since 1996. Programs will be held on the whole area of the exhibition, in a 60.000 square metre exhibition hall and the 50.000 square metre area around it.
Organizers: Hungarian Kennel Club.
Exhibitors: apart from the large number of Hungarian exhibitors dog breeders will arrive from the whole of Europe: more than 15 000 dogs will take part.

- Horse shows: in the saddle or in the coach-box
- Spectacular fashion show of designer Tamás Náray with dogs
- Entertaining hobby- and game programs
- Without a lead: the written and unwritten laws of keeping animals – informative lectures for small and older animal owners in order to promote responsible ownership, with the supervision of the Animal Protection department of the Association of Hungarian Journalists
- House of Hungarian Breeds: getting to know the 9 Hungarian dog breeds and their habitats
- Close-up: pet corner and Small Animal House
- Hungaricum street: traditional Hungarian food and drink shows, tastings and fair
- Dog and small animal equipment fair, production and commercial companies from all over Europe will take part
- Entertaining shows
